Hardy-type Inequalities via Auxiliary Sequences

چکیده
k=1 |ak|, in which C = (cj,k) and the parameter p are assumed fixed (p > 1), and the estimate is to hold for all complex sequences a. The lp operator norm of C is then defined as the p-th root of the smallest value of the constant U : ||C||p,p = U 1 p . Hardy’s inequality thus asserts that the Cesáro matrix operator C, given by cj,k = 1/j, k ≤ j and 0 otherwise, is bounded on lp and has norm ≤ p/(p− 1). (The norm is in fact p/(p − 1).) We say a matrix A is a summability matrix if its entries satisfy: aj,k ≥ 0, aj,k = 0 for k > j and ∑j k=1 aj,k = 1. We say a summability matrix A is a weighted mean matrix if its entries satisfy: aj,k = λk/Λj , 1 ≤ k ≤ j; Λj = j

General Hardy-Type Inequalities with Non-conjugate Exponents
We derive whole series of new integral inequalities of the Hardy-type, with non-conjugate exponents. First, we prove and discuss two equivalent general inequa-li-ties of such type, as well as their corresponding reverse inequalities. General results are then applied to special Hardy-type kernel and power weights. Also, some estimates of weight functions and constant factors are obtained. ...

In this paper, we will prove several new inequalities of Hardy type with explicit constants. The main results will be proved using generalizations of Opial's inequality.
متن کاملHardy Type Inequalities via Riccati and Sturm–Liouville Equations
We discuss integral estimates for domain of solutions to some canonical Riccati and Sturm–Liouville equations on the line. The approach is applied to Hardy and Poincaré type inequalities with weights.
متن کاملHardy Type Inequalities via Convexity - the Journey so Far
It is nowadays well-known that Hardy’s inequality (like many other inequalities) follows directly from Jensen’s inequality. Most of the development of Hardy type inequalities has not used this simple fact, which obviously was unknown by Hardy himself and many others. Here we report on some results obtained in this way mostly after 2002 by mainly using this fundamental idea.
